Stuck In the Mud in Mouloundou

by Mike Loomis
March 27, 2003

We left Camp Kombo at 8:45 this morning, heading for Nki National Park via Moloundou. Mouloundou is a town on the southern border shared by Cameroon and the Rebublic of Congo.

We arrived in Moloundou at 10:45AM, and it started raining very hard. Due to road conditions, we decided to spend the night in Moloundou and get a very early start for Nki tomorrow. We leave at 5:30AM tomorrow morning.
