The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission and seaturtle.org offer a great tool for those interested in sea turtles. The "Sea Turtle Nest Monitoring System" (STNMS) provides maps, datasets and other information regarding sea turtle nests along the length of the North Carolina Coast. In addition to data for the entire state, visitors can use the pulldown menu at the top to review data for a specific beach. Visitors can also use another pulldown to review data for previous years.
The STNMS website can be accessed here.
